RATES
Many extended health benefits provide coverage to access therapeutic services. You are encouraged to check with your benefit provider regarding counselling services provided by a Registered Social Worker to determine coverage and approved rates. Receipts may also be claimed on your income tax, under medical expenses.

Nuu-chah-nulth Tribal Council Mental Health Program
Fees for a 50 minute session are $140.00 for individuals, and $175 for a couples session. *As of January 1, 2024 the fee for an individual session is increasing to $150. Rates apply to in person, online, and telephone counselling, and are due at the time of service. Registered Social Workers are exempt from PST and GST so there is no tax on counselling fees.
Payment may be made via e-transfer, or credit card at each session. With online and telephone sessions, payment via e-transfer must be received prior the start of the session, unless other funding arrangements are in place. E-transfer payments can be sent to brushedbycedar@gmail.com.
CANCELLATION POLICY
For cancellation a full 24 hours prior to the scheduled session must be given, otherwise a full session fee will be charged, including no shows.
If there have been 3 sessions with less than 24 hours notice (including no shows), Brushed by Cedar Counselling retains the right to end service.
